How do I prepare for interviews with Executives? (Interview Success Formula Members)
First, connect with these individuals as a peer. Don't feel that you need to talk up or be deferential.
Before you walk in, it is recommended to take time to study the company and understand how it works. If possible, talk to people who work there or deal with the operations side of the business externally, so you can walk in with a pretty clear picture of what the position requires.
There is some content in the Bonus Section related to leadership interviews. It is designed to help you think critically about what the organization's weak sides are so that you can fix or remove them and also what their strengths are, which you can look to augment.
In the Launch Section, there are questions to ask for the interviewer. These really work well at any level. They are designed to help you learn more about the person you are speaking with and their vision of where the organization is heading next. But feel free throughout the interview to ask questions about where the organization is going, what challenges they currently face, and where they feel the organization is headed next (both goals and danger areas).
