If you aren't familiar with the HireVue format, it's an automated interview program. So a question pops up, you are given a limited time to record your answer, and then the next question comes up. It will be between 5 and 15 questions and shouldn't take more than about half an hour.

Before you start, if you can, it is recommended to set up a Skype account (if you don't have one), and just have a conversation with a friend where you check the microphone volume, your internet connection, that the camera is working, if your lighting is okay, and the that the stuff behind you on camera looks professional.
