Multiple Recruiters (How to decide who to work with?)
If you are getting dozens of calls and emails from recruiters that want to submit your resume to various positions (or, 5-6 recruiters telling you about the same position), then you might be wondering how to distinguish which recruiters have legitimate connections to the open positions versus those that are just fishing or possibly even fraudulent...
The good news, none of them are fraudulent, but their reputations will inevitably vary from one person to the next (from excellent, to unreliable, to just starting out). And you can absolutely work with more than one (though dozens would be frustrating).
Begin by checking them out individually on LinkedIn. See how long they have been in the business and who recommends them. Choose the recruiters who you like the most and who seem to fit you the best. Also, look for people who are trying to know who you are before placing you. They will care more about you and the employer as well as the process.
For jobs that have multiple recruiters reaching out, it's recommended that you consider contacting the employer or hiring manager directly.
